Cooked a whole turkey on this bad boy over the weekend and the vertical smoker kept the temp steady as a rock for six hours. The griddle side is perfect for searing steaks right after they come off the smoker. Nice to have both options without switching gear.
Swapped from my old propane setup to this and the vertical smoker compartment makes a huge difference—I smoked a whole turkey and finished it on the griddle without ever having to move it inside. Even heating across the griddle top surprised me for the price.
The griddle surface is massive—I seared a dozen burgers at once without crowding. The vertical smoker runs steady for 8 hours on a pellet fill, and that combo versatility saves me from buying two separate units.
I was worried the vertical smoker would be too small for a whole turkey, but the 28-inch chamber fit one perfectly with room to spare for a pan of sides. Having the griddle and smoker in one unit is a huge space-saver on my patio.
The griddle top gets screaming hot and sears a steak perfectly, while having the smoker side separate means I can do a whole meal at once. Assembly took a solid afternoon, but the cooking versatility is absolutely worth the effort.
Finally got a whole turkey to fit with room to spare, and the vertical design made cleanup way easier than my old offset. The pellet smoker side held 225°F through a six-hour cook without me touching it once.
I can fit a whole turkey on the top rack while searing veggies on the griddle below, and the temperature stayed steady for the entire 6-hour cook. The pellet hopper held enough fuel that I didn't have to refill once, which was a huge plus for a long smoke session.
The griddle surface gets hot enough to sear a perfect steak crust, and the vertical smoker compartment held a steady 225°F for my whole brisket cook. I’ve already used it three times in two weeks for everything from burgers to turkey. The fold-down front shelf is a game-changer for holding plates and tools right where I need them.
I was skeptical about the vertical smoker setup, but the dual-use design for both griddling and smoking is a game-changer for weekday meal prep. The pellet hopper feeds consistently without jamming, and I managed to smoke a whole turkey in under four hours.
The griddle surface is huge, easily seared eight steaks with room to spare while the smoker side slow-cooked a whole chicken to perfection. Love having two different cooking methods in one unit without taking up more patio space.
